Cheshmeh Khosh Oil Field:Views : 1877
Cheshmeh khosh field is one of Iran's oil fields, located in the area of Dasht-e-Abbas, Ilam province, 52 km south of Dehloran city and 70 km west of Andimeshk city. Khoshmeh Khosh field was discovered in 1343 and its exploitation began in 1354.
The crude oil production capacity of the Cheshmeh khosh field is an average of 18,000 barrels per day, also equivalent to 115 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The oil produced in the field after being processed at the Cheshmeh khosh operation unit, is transported to the Ahvaz-3 operational complex through a 153-kilometer pipeline and finally sent to the island of Kharg through the oil terminal to supply refineries or exports. Cheshmeh Khosh oil field is one of the fields under the management of the Iranian Central Oil Field Company (ICOFC).
The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by the company with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) on the development of this field and the provision of MDP on 1396/02/18.
A study is under way to conduct studies and prepare MDP.
